HOW TO TAKE CARE FOR YOUR NEW TATTOO
  • When your tattoo is done, it will be creamed and covered with the plastic wrap.
  • Keep the dressing on for no more then 3 - 4 hours.
  • After this time, you can remove the bandage.
  • Wash your hands first with warm water and soap.
  • Then gently wash the tattoo with fragrance-free soap and water.
  • Pat your skin dry with a soft paper towel. Apply a small amount of Bepanthen cream (better Bepanthen antiseptic) or any other Tattoo Aftercare Cream to the tattoo. You can keep the bandage off at this point to let your skin breathe.
  • But it is better to wrap it again for the first night, to protect it from bacteria and prevent rubbing on your clothes.
  • The next day or two I would also recommend to wash your tattoo 3 - 4 times a day with warm water and soap and apply tattoo aftercare cream, wear the bandage and don't forget to change it every 3 hours.
While your tattoo heals, you should:
- Wear sun-protective clothing whenever you go outside.
You shouldn’t:
- Scratch or pick at the tattoo.
- Go swimming or immerse your body in water (showers are fine).
- Go to Sauna.
- Wear tight clothing over the tattoo.
